We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented professional to provide hands-on operational support for an upcoming merger and acquisition (M&A) event. In this role, you will be instrumental in assessing, organizing, and managing all contingent workforce-related activities, directly contributing to a smooth integration with minimal disruption to business operations. Your expertise will ensure continuity, compliance, and an exceptional experience for the contingent talent joining our client’s innovative ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

M&A Workforce Assessment, Data Management, and Operational Tasks

  • Gather and validate comprehensive data for contingent workers transitioning from the acquired entity.
  • Maintain meticulously accurate data trackers, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
  • Actively support due diligence activities, efficiently responding to data requests as needed.
  • Coordinate closely with the Contingent Lead and external suppliers to confirm worker status and classification.
  • Assist in the seamless migration of contingent workers into internal HRIS or VMS tracking systems.
  • Execute essential administrative tasks, including updating worker records, monitoring compliance documentation, and tracking renewal dates.
  • Provide high-touch, customized support to address sensitive or critical workforce issues with empathy and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with Managed Service Providers (MSPs) to ensure compliant setup for all transitioning workers.
  • Coordinate contingent worker orientations to facilitate a smooth onboarding experience.
  • Prepare and disseminate weekly status reports and issue logs, keeping stakeholders informed.

Compliance and Risk Management

  • Support the review of worker classifications, tenure, and market rate data to ensure accuracy and fairness.
  • Proactively identify potential compliance gaps and escalate risks to the Contingent Lead for timely resolution.
  • Assist in the evaluation of current supplier setups and facilitate transitions to new suppliers or migration to MSPs.
  • Help coordinate background checks in strict adherence to company policy.

Qualifications

Must-Have Qualifications

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in contingent operations, Managed Service Provider (MSP)/Vendor Management System (VMS) environments, or supplier management.
  • Demonstrated strong understanding of Contingent Workforce compliance and workforce classification principles.
  • Excellent data management and Excel reconciliation skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and project coordination skills, enabling effective collaboration across teams.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

  • Experience supporting M&A or other large-scale organizational transition projects is strongly preferred.
